back protector

I've finally signed up for my first track day and am looking to get a back protector. I have a one piece suit, and I don't know if any of them come with them, but mine lacks a pocket for a back protector.

I'm looking at a Forcefield, but am unsure about the sizing. I am 5' 9" and 165 pounds. Any help in any direction would be appreciated.

thanks,
Chris

Get the force field. You won't regret it. It is thin, light weight, and comfortable. Just use the sizing on the website. It was accurate for me.

+1 get the Forcefield Sub 4. Safest protector you can buy at the moment.

At 5' 9" with a 32" waist I can't tell whether I'm a small or a medium, according to the website. What do you guys wear and what are your measurements?

i'm 6'3'' and ordered the larges size. i think it was 2XL or something. I would go a size larger to get more coverage for your spine.

Call Alan @ Johnson's Leather in SF 415/775-7393 (Forcefield Imp in the US) You can also e-mail him through their site, he's a lovely and a most helpful guy, a little distracted at times, but he knows the product inside and out. Tell him your weight, height and body-type and he'll sort you out. I've bought tons of Forcefeild from him and the service is spot on.
