2013 f4 tank bag Suggestions

Hey Guys and Gals, I am looking for suggestions for a SMALL Tank Bag for my 2013 F4. The Mv Agusta "Trip" bag is awesome but is rather pricey.
Can anyone make some suggestion as to a nice fitting bag.....

The reason for the tank bag is that I have to have an Alcohol Interlock installed on my bike for 12 months if I want to continue to ride it and need a small tank bag to store the device in....
Please don't judge me, it is a long story and I drove under the influence while on medication after open heart surgery..

Just need some suggestions so I can keep riding my pride and joy...

Thanks Clay

I know you weren't asking about it but I have an Ogio back pack, rather than a tank bag, that works great. It is so light and aerodynamic I don't even know it's there and it comes with me when I get off the bike. They can be pricey but IMHO, worth it in every way.

Also not a direct answer but I used a Givi on my 08 312R a few times and didn't find it too obstructive.

Very pleased with the ST602 Givi Tanklock bag (I also have a Givi XS307 for touring). The 602 is ideal as a 'day bag' for the bits and pieces you might need out on a ride but at the same time small and compact. The mounting system is easy to use and unobtrusive when the bag is off the bike too.

Sounds like it could, subject to clearance, be ideal for a sports bike rider that wants a small tank bag. Dimensions are on the web page above. You'll need to approximately judge how it will sit in relation to your filler cap, I can provide dimensions off of mine in this respect if you like. Edit, just realised I put mine into storage on Monday.... I do have the XS307 here though.

Hi

As an alternative, Bags-connection have a good range and a very well (German) made.

They attach via a fuel cap lock-ring.

Hi Gero. Greetings from a damp and grey Herefordshire

I've accumulated something of a collection of Givi tank-lock tank bags. The original ST602 is great for a few items (phone, tyre repair kit, sunglasses), ideal for a day out. For touring I wanted something a bit bigger and that could expand if required, that's why I bought the XS307. Something of a snap decision ahead of last years tours. Means I can take more stuff (camera) and leave panniers at the hotel when staying in one location for a few days. Whilst this model does what's required it's not a shape that works well with the fuel tank on the TV. Hence I have now purchased a ST603 which encompasses the features of both yet fits the bike far better. The only thing missing from the XS307 are the side pockets which were handy for passport and side-stand puck.

I can take photos of all three for you the next time I have the bike out from under its cover.

The ST602 and 603 I will be keeping, the XS307 will be going onto eBay when I find the time.
Gearhead and Gearhead like this.
