What Rear Stands

Hi Gents,

Seen some old threads on this. Wanted a T-rex Rear stand because it holds the wheel captive on a roller bearing so I can stick it in gear while on the stand engine running.

Can't seem to find it for sale anymore, any other stands have this features?

Thanks

I use this one on the Dragster, works fine enough and have ran the bike in gear on it a couple of times.

That stand above looks very similar to a generic branded one available in Oz. Not sure i would run the bike in gear on a single sided stand though.

I've done it after lubing n wiping the chain just a wee bit to get any more loose lube worked through and off so that I can then clean the bloody white wheel on the back and not get much more on it when riding. Others might not do this, no big deal is it.

I want something that can stand up to about 4000 rpm in 6th gear for short periods of time. Could do with it holding the axle captive.

So I ordered a spider stand. 'It will never fall off' apparently according to ebay.

I still prefer the Bursig for build quality, but that's just me.

Whats everyone's take on this stand?

For some stupid reason, I cant order an Abba stand without paying an absolute fortune in shipping to get it to South Africa?! Not sure how some of the Ebay vendors have such better shipping rates.
