Whats in your underseat toolkit??

Hey All,

My 990R's toolkit just came with the c-spanner (and extension).. and lots of empty little pockets So i thought i might fill it up.. Apart from the standard allen/hex keys, i might add a little reversible screwdriver... I also carry a emergency tyre repair kit (with the pressurized cylinders) and a small first aid kit.

What else do you carry in the toolkit?

Cheers, Simon

You mean to say the the Brutale has sufficient space under the seat for tools? You're lucky, the TV has two Allen keys clipped to the underside of the pillion perch, that's it, no space for anything else. Seems odd on a sports tourer. Having to add essentials into my tank bag or panniers for longer trips, otherwise recovery is the only option.

I dont carry extra tools, just have my AA recovery card in my wallet...this works in Europe for "free" recovery to garage etc

The Under seat storage is useful for essentials like; small thin cable lock (for helmet/kit) an Abus alarm disc lock and sidestand support (for soft ground)

thats basically everything I carry all the time, other than phone/wallet/keys

For underseat bag I think Kriega do some small bags, not sure if they are too big/take up too much volume themselves
