I use a tool from MVF4.com. Cheap, quick, serious and very kind man.

Don't hesitate to contact him and say you know me. Diego is member on this forum.

I use a 55mm 12-point socket that has had the internal points smoothed down. The nice CNC-machined ones weren't around yet when I first got the bike so I had to make do.

i use a 2 and whatever inch socket that i got from the local sears hardware. I lined the inside of it with electrical tape so it didnt scour the nut.....has worked fine so far with no problems. it was only like 20 bucks too

For the wheel nut tiself I use a specially shaped socket I got off ebay from Germany for about £30. For the (deeper) sprocket side nut I use a 55mm Britool socket which also cost me about £20 or £30.

If you can't fix it with a hammer you've got an electrical problem!
