iPhone set up on the 2015 Dragster800rr

Hi guys, first post on here but have had my Dragster 800rr for 7 months now. Done around 2000 miles on it. My biggest surprise so far is how much attention it gets!! Love it!!

I'm heading off in April from Manchester to the south coast of Spain and want a good solid reliable wired iPhone 6+ setup on my bars. Anyone got a picture of their set up? Struggling to find a place to put it plus need the wiring too.

Any advice? Pics? Info?

Much appreciated!

Thanks for the welcome. May well go for Sat Nav! Which ones are worth looking at?

I love my old Tom Tom Rider with European maps - been smashed down the road and done over 20k with it in all weathers the new one looks a lot
Sleeker and has lifetime maps ?quite an investment but imho worth it if you do a lot of touring - need to ask others re hard wiring in as not done on mine and I need to find a better mounting solution to

Some prefer Garmin but the other 1/2 is always cursing his and it once took us down as Swiss cycle path lol

I did some posts on this a while back. Depends on your iphone size but they do a Bike-it magnetic phone holder one where the 4 magnets literally fit perfect onto the 4 bolts where the bars clip on

It wont fit anything bigger than Iphone 4/5 or Sony Xperia T which I use for Nav but at 9.99 and waterproof its perfect. Just the magnets are good enough and I have never had it move no matter what speed or riding style

Do a search I put a load of pics when I initially fitted it

What about something like a RAM mount - various different 'claws' or mounts available to keep you mobile secure.

I used a waterproof slimline case with the X-grip mount. Works a charm.

http://www.quadlockcase.com is really good for bicylcle. Not sure it will fit on the dragster but if it does, the quality is really good and the phone is really well secured. They have a bunch of different mounts too.

I think it's made in Australia

I have but it's not needed 90% of the time as the phone will run on the battery for a good 3 hours

I bought a usb charger than runs off the bike battery and has an on off switch under the seat

The cable then runs up the left hand side of the clutch cable and i just plug it in as and when i need to
