New Helmet design

Totally new helmet design. I get so sick of taking my helmet on and off doing the chin strap and boxing my ears. This would make the helmet ritual much more pleasant!

Unfortunately in the event of a crash, medics won't know how to remove the helmet. That there is a barcode scan to give them information on removal process is about as useful as tits on a bull....paramedics don't carry scanners. I like the basic idea though but think it needs some sorting

you're right Chris

I'd rather they cut the strap, put a cervical collar on and THEN remove the helmet

1680-1780g

so similar to most flip up style helmets and 500g heavier than most light helmets

will give your neck a work out on a any bike with a sporty riding position, should be fine on an upright bike though

cheers

Not really the Arai Corsair X in L is 1631g and the Shoei X-12 in XL is 1766g. Here`s a very complete list.

The BMW SportIntegral Carbon weighs 950g . (top of the list N/A).

.

.

.

...the chocolate cake with cream probably weighs more than the helmet .....and the bugs weigh a few grams too ....surprising how many bugs you collect at 99kph

If it`s N/A it`s a moot point.

It just means they haven't had one to test (weigh) They cost $3000 so that's probably why. If you really insist on being pedantic I will put it on a scale and post a pic........there are a few on this forum that will back me up re the super light weight....eg Chuck, Ed, Dave
