GoPro Bar fixing point Dragster

Has anyone tried fitting one by removing one of the top yoke screws and replacing with a GoPro or similar fixing?

If so any links, pics etc

I cant use a sucker cup on the tank for track days or helmet and I would like a front view with dash rather than the side mount which I have been using

Thanks

I think Mitch or someone posted about a GPS clamp which will attach around the fork leg, but I think if you want to see the dash too, then you'd have to mount the GoPro further back. I imagine you don't want to use the 3M stick on pads, what about a bracket which could bolt onto the fuel cap using longest bolts?

Cheers Mitchy but i don't want it on the fork

Donsy yes I'll have a look on the fuel cap idea but a few have said track day officials can be 50/50 with it on the tank but nobody has had issues on the bars

Would prefer not to stick it with the 3M pad if i could help it

Just found this on eBay. I'm hoping i can use the left screw fixing to attach to my bar. I'll probably take that screw out and use the mv one as it'll easily be long enough then attach the gopro on the other side

Should arrive end of the week but I'm away with work so i won't get a chance to try this until Sunday

Cheers Donsy I've saved the picture from the link and emailed the track day officials we use in England and I'll see what they say

For now I'm going to try this setup

Tried it out today... Was too low and constant dash

I did however manage to get a sticker on a mates bike which he was completely oblivious to for a good 2 hour ride haha

Good work with the sticker. I was expecting something like this: http://youtu.be/TX7p14VVk8Y but then I took a closer look at the picture.

It's a little ghetto fabulous, but I daisy chained a few of the arms together in order to mount my GoPro a bit higher on my chest mount. That may be an easy fix to help get your camera up over the dash a bit more.
