Clock on Brutale 1090

Was surprised to find there is no clock on the instrument panel of my new Brutale 1090. Quite frustrating seeing there is so much real estate on the LCD panel.

Would anyone suggest what are the options that might be available to install the clock? I saw some on ebay for the handle bars or some stick-ons. Curious as what people used?

Many thanks in advance

I was surprised too ...no fuel gauge, no clock

I had one of these stick on Oxford clocks lying around that I never fitted to another bike, it fit perfect on the steering damper

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Oxford-Micro.../dp/B000R57XEE

they also do round analogue ones too that would fit in the same location

cheers

yeah it got bad reviews ....Ive had it years and never used it, didnt buy it specific for my Brutale

Seems fine though to me, im not changing modes with gloves on or riding in heavy rain...so it just tells the time when I glance down

the analogue clock from Oxford looks like a good option too. Surprisingly there are few options out there other than chrome clocks for cruiser handlebars......

surely couldn't have been that hard for MV to integrate a clock into the fancy LCD display ...a fuel gauge would be nice too

few options on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Thomas-Traceab.../dp/B006OCLFAM

Formotion products used to do a few different models, if you can find stock anywhere http://www.formotionproducts.com/shop-1/

cheers

I think so, its pretty small and would fit on the yoke without the damper, if you get chance post a pic of your bars/top yoke

That's where mine was mounted Al, I don't have any pictures though. It got moisture behind the screen a couple of times before it finally fell off. I wasn't the least bit concerned when I noticed it was gone

Recently I fitted this excellent little clock to my Kawasaki ZRX 1200r..............could something like this be incorporated somewhere on your Brutale 1090?

That clock on the ZRX looks excellent, a really neat OE looking fit ...now why couldn't MV do something like that for our bikes

ive got flashing TC and ABS settings for some features I rarely touch, yet not enough space for a 4 digit clock

cheers
