Right place/time = Free leathers!

I will be participating in my first real track day in April...I say real because I have ridden my mini racers on a go kart track before, but only have years of canyon riding experience on the big bikes, never a track. As I am contemplating if I should wear my shiny new Dianese leathers ($$$) or my ancient moth-eaten Teknic suit from 1995(!!!), look what shows up in the mail yesterday...

Used only once in a track day exhibition at Willow Springs that aired on the TV show Superbikes, these Gericke leathers are in excellent shape, and should make a great track day set...Plus, they were completely free!!!

I'm sure I'll do fine once I realize I can get out of the right-hand lane, use the whole track, and stop looking in my mirrors for the cops!

Be good to people, Karma is a boomerang, and sometimes is delivered in your exact size!!!

Griff

I won't miss you on the track in April in those. Lucky you. And just take off the mirrors or tape 'em up, cops couldn't keep up anyway.

Griff: Some times, free is still too high!!! Those leathers are 'butt ugly' in my opinon. But what do I know? I wore a searsucker suit, white bucks, and a pink tie to Easter Sunday service today...(Unless you are from the DEEP south, you just wouldn't understand...)

just kidding my friend!

Hey, Rando...You more than ANY of us know you should NEVER look a gift horse in the mouth....I guess because of bad breath? Anyway, ya, I agree they ain't purty, but then, neither am I!!! Why do you think I always have a helmet on?!?!?

I have two other suits that I like much more, but I just don't want to put parts of the Fontana track on my Dainese's...I know, pathetic, but I LOVE that suit!

When the price is free, my standards go WAAAY down! I'm that way with women, too, it turns out!

Bud....NOTHING is ever free when it comes to women....you do know that, right?

On another point, do you ever get the middle finger salute with that 'Ferrari Tow Vehicle' decal on your Ford pickup?

It's just like free sex from an ugly whore from the pub. It's free but ugly as
hell. I still do it but with a paper bag over my face.

Motorcycle is more than just a transport.
