I had a Simpson motorcycle helmet in the mid-1980's. Do you remeber the one with the Darth Vader looking chin bar? It was a very nice helmet, but it seems they fell out of favor with motorcyclists.

Lots of USA NASCAR drivers use Simpson gear. I did a "Learn to drive a NASCAR" school a couple of years ago and all their loaner helmets were Simpsons. I used my own Shoei, though, so I can't comment on current products but I would think it must be a good helmet.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Pier: You need to rethink buying any helmet without first trying it on. Simpson makes a great helmet, but if it doesn't fit the shape of your head, you'll hate it.

I think they are good, but also ugly. Arai then Bell would be my choice.
