Talking Birmingham, AL race (next weekend) 21-22

anyone going? I have been invited to go and was wondering if anyone else were going to attend? I'm only going for the 21st as I have plans for that sunday. I'll be taking my bike to put on display for my local dealer at their vendor booth. I figured I'd send out a shout to let folks know.

....or maybe Faisal and I trailer-queen the F4Rs......and meet you two there.
James, we have a nice hotel downtown Birmingham, but I was mistaken...there isn't shit to do downtown. (Sorry I was thinking of Charlotte, NC)
We'll find some 12 year old Glenlivet somewhere.....

Best thing to do in Birmingham..... is to leave. There are a few bars and such.... but nothing really stands out. Are you guys going to do some riding before/after the race?? I'll only be there one day (saturday)...but I'd like to do some riding with some fellow MV owners....but I'll have a friend with a ZX10 also... I can bring some world class tequilla.... very pricey, but also very, very tasty with hints of chocolate. Anyone ever heard of Don Julio tequilla? of-course the drinking would be after the ride.... nothing like a good relaxing shot of liquor!

Sounds like we're driving another rental sans bikes - but meeting sounds good!

We're from Texas, tequila is second nature Maybe we can all bring some things...

a friend of mine mentioned a parade lap around the track...is this true? I'd like to do it, but only after I have the bike off of the display booth stand. Anyways.... I'll bring a few different types of tequilla/ whiskey.....sound good? I can also bring a smoker grill, and some food to lay on it. Sausages, chicken, burgers?? maybe a little of all....and some hot sauce to fire up the food a bit. Any preferences on hot sauce?? I have more than 150 kinds.....so I may have your favorites....just let me know.
