Riding to Cabo San Lucas

Anyone interested in my annual ride to Cabo San Lucas? Leaving San Diego morning of July 29, 2010 and returning to San Diego on August 10, 2010. A passport and tourist card is mandatory. Have ridden every year since 2004. Lots of fun and roads are great. This year it will be myself and another buddy. We've ridden together since 1994. Leave the wives and kids at home. This is a trip for the guys to recharge their batteries! Not being of the "resort" clientel, we stay at hotels with local flavor. Guess you could say we are reliving the dorm days of college. We split all costs for gas, lodging, and dinner. Souvenirs and photo ops abound. so pack lightly. Email me for further info. Oh, yes, I ride a stock F4.

Wow! I am amazed! Good for you.

I ride with several Mexican citizens and they always joke about how motorcycles are jacked in Mexico, while ridden. Mind you, I am aware of the differences of Baha vs the mainland. The typical tactic is to have 2-3 motorcycles with 2 rides on each. They pull up on you, put a gun in your face, and tell you to get off.

I would love to join you guys, but I would do it on a bigger bike and have a surfboard with me.

Have fun.

Thanks for the reply "liquidwhy". If you know of anyone interested, let me know. I make this trip every year around the last week of July and the first week of August. maybe by then you will have a boat (Honda Goldwing) that can carry your surfboard. In Baja, thus far, the locals have been very kind to motorcyclists, even more som the further you get away from Tijuana and Ensenada. As a matter of fact, We only stop in "TJ" to get our tourist card. The next stop is well south of Ensenada. I try to squeeze every bit of gas out of my 2006 F4's gas tank. Yep, my throttle isn't too happy for the first 100 miles or so south of the border.
