There’s no such thing as cold

What we've got here, is failure to communicate.

That's true. In science it is always considered a less degree of heat.

Cold is defined as The Absence of Heat.

Definition of cold;

Absence of heat. Scientifically, there is no such thing as "cold." Different temperatures have different amounts of heat. Heat is directly created by energy. So something that feels "hot" has a lot of energy, while something that feels "cold" has a significantly lesser amount of energy. Molecules in an object are always moving due to the thermal energy that they have. All temperatures have energy, even in places where it gets 70 degrees below zero. Frozen glaciers still have molecular motion, therefore, energy. The ONLY temperature that does not have any energy at all is 0 Kelvin. This is where all molecular motion stops completely. Scientists have not yet been able to make any sort of instrument that recreates this setting on Earth. For now, it is a theoretical temperature.

Unless it's going to be like last year. Then it would be "See Minnesota:November-March"
