Exactly why we should do it in September. October is leaf watching month - people in cages clogging up traffic.

I think those are old dates. Leaves changing color later now. If you will recall, we had no issues with leaf peepers the first 2 Gappalicious or any of the Bubbas (which were always first half of October).
How would you know you cut your trees down.

This year it has been unseasonable warm. Seems to be about 10 degrees above normal every day.

More like 20 degrees... normal temps here should be low 70's but it's been mid-90's. Supposed to start to cool a bit later this week.

The leaf peepers don't go to the mountains until the second half of October. We never had any traffic or wet leaves on any of the Bubba rides or at the Gap 2 and 3 years ago....did we???

We never had any wet leaves. It seems like we may have had more traffic from car clubs that year we stayed at Fontana (Miata, Hyundai fart can Genesis, Crossfire [Andrew's buddies]).

Sorry man, there is just too much of it down there to take enough, lol.

If we go by the numbers so far... early-mid Oct it is. I like it. Luckily I don't have to make the decision

Also, if any of us are getting stuck in traffic, then we aren't riding the right motorycles... unless you are me, and you are on a Grom...

You do math like my boss. It's actually a tie between early Oct and not early Oct.
