Anyone riding up to WSBK from SoCal?

Just checking to see if anyone else is riding to WSBK on Friday 22 June?
Looks like martynnmv and myself will be heading up Friday morning in case anyone wanted to link up.
I have our route mapped out and a rough schedule I can send to anyone interested.
We will be starting with breakfast at the Summerland Cafe in Summerland, CA. (Right next to the 101).

Tis better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than speak aloud and remove all doubt

Cindy and I will be there at the WSBK event. We are staying in Carmel-By-The-Sea at The Mission Ranch. We will be tooling up to Laguna Seca in a Camaro Convertible...we hope.

Ed will be joining a group of us who will be going up for this. Some will be leaving from Woodland Hills on Wednesday (6/20), some on Thursday, and others on Friday. Some will ride up, others will be in RV's and cars, and we will have at least one 28' enclosed trailer. We will be camped in the General Camping area above Turn 9. It's within walking distance of The Corkscrew and bathrooms w/showers.

Although plans have yet to be finalized, we are expecting 6-10 people camping with us, and 15-20+ hanging out with us at various times throughout the weekend. There will likely be 5-7 MV's in our group. George (tyrefriar)) and Viktor (Pampilini23) from this forum are also coming with us.

We'll have a BBQ and Tiki Bar going both Friday and Saturday nights. Please stop by while you're there and say hi. These are all quality people. You'll soon see that you'll be among friends. If you would like to join us on the ride or drive up (including bike transport), just PM me.

BTW, HWY 1 IS STILL CLOSED in the Big Sur area, so you'll need to route around it. Hotel and motel rooms are still available in Monterey and Carmel, but you should make reservations soon. Most have a n/c policy for cancellations within x days. Laguna Seca is approximately 8 miles inland from Monterey.

We need to encourage everyone to come. If attendance doesn't rise, this race will be lost.
