Saddlesore 1000 on the dragster..
It's now official..I completed a "saddlesore 1000" on my 800 dragster rr..we left @1:00a.m. and got home @11:00p.m. the 30th of sept. 2017....22hrs. and 1065 miles.
According to the I.B.A. I am the first person to have done a official saddlesore 1000 in the history of the I.B.A. (iron butt association) on the dragster rr. there are 2 mv's listed in Europe, a tourismo and a brutale but never on the dragster rr.....MV AGUSTA..MOTO-SKIVEEZ was involved in the process of this event, I did it with the stock seat and no aftermarket wind protection, it was not easy, the last 2 hours was killing my ass! that's why it's called a "saddlesore"..I did this on 3 hours sleep, I needed about 3 more...

I had to build a platform so it wouldn't block my turn signals and the board is my fender from water splashing, it works good...I was able to carry 2 fuel containers and all of my tools..there will be a video later

I did a saddlesore on my Triumph Tiger, and was thinking of doing another on my Brutale.......
After just riding 1200 miles over 2 days, I was having second thoughts......... you have given me new enthusiasm

It was not easy, the last 200 miles were brutale..lol!..I don't think It would have happened without the moto-skiveez...I had the bike shorts most of the summer then got these and made a long trip, it was noticeably better for comfort..the dragster seat is a brick...I also made the rear bags so I could have a back rest...

Your ass will thank you for it!..also, having a "throttle lock" is a must have add on for the longer rides, theres no way I could go that far with out it. I hope you do it on the brutale, the iron butt association likes to see bikes like ours do these long rides, 98% are done with touring bikes. You did it on the tiger, that's tuff rider too..good luck!

Yea, I discovered it while scanning motorcycle vids on youtube..I started off by doing 200 miles rides..then got up to 500+..1,065 miles in 22hrs, that's my record now.
I'm to old to race..
