Weekend Gatherings in Nova/DC area...(Marcus Dairy-esque)

OK, GreenEggs you faithfully post here looking for guys to ride with every weekend. I was back up in CT this past weekend and stopped by Marcus Dairy on Sunday morning. Anyone from NYC to Mass knows what it's all about. A few hundred bikes meet every sunday. You get alllllll kinds. The point is to get a bunch of two wheelers together. Hang out, have a coffee, look at some bike porn and then go on your own rides.

If there's something like that down here, please excuse the noob posting. If there isn't, what do you guys say about getting anyone into riding together? I'm sure you guys know riders on other makes. Invite them out. Anyone have any ideas on a venue that could handle a growing crowd???

C'mon guys, let's get this together.

There is a small group that gets together every Sunday at the city docks in Annapolis at a cafe called Aroma d'Italia. They are mostly beemer riders (we're a seasoned bunch, i.e. probably had our first brit bike before most in this forum were born) but there are a couple other sport bikes, all in all about 8-10. My problem with this group is that they are more into the social chit chat than the ride so I usually ride first, by myself, then pass by after for a coffee. Would love to actually ride with a small group, 3-4 max.

Not to be an ass or anything, but, it is good to see some interest from someone else to do some riding. i know it is hard to get things organized but for as much as i ride i figure i should be riding with other MV's. i know a few guys around here that ride but unfortunatly they are down for the count due to some crashes. i have recently been talking with some riders from DCsportbikes just to find where people meet up and ride with some more experianced riders. needless to say, if you guys name a place you want to meet do a little chatting/riding you tell me the time and place and as long as i am in town i will make my way to you guys. i will see if i can find some more people in my area to bring to such said events. Glad that i didn't have to post this time!!! Lets ride!

Blev,

I been out due to my bike's electrical problems and the fact that I took a two week vacation. Finally found out that the culprit was a bad starter relay, putting in calls to the Charlotte dealer to get the part and some other..."accessories"

I removed the relay and "hotwired" the bike by touching the positive battery cable to the starter cable and it started! Problem discovered thanks to the MV repair manuals.
