An Amazing UK Private Car & Bike Collection in Hertfordshire.

.

As I intermediate in another thread, a few of my close friends and I had the honour to be invited to a private car and bike collection in Hertfordshire..

The collection belongs to one individual and over the years he has amassed this wonderful collection of cars and bikes ( over 500 cars ). This is just a small flavour what was there, as I would take me over a week posting pictures to show you guys what was under this one roof.

Apologies for some of the poor quality pictures, as it was difficult to take decent shots of the cars because the display was so tightly packed.

The owner has over another 100+ rare cars and bikes stored and waiting to be put on display.. Currently, this collection isn't open to the public, but in the new year around January 2017, the complete collection is being moved to a new much bigger premises in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, where the whole collection will be open to the general public..

What's amazing about this collection is that its been right under my nose for the last 20 years and I didn't know it was there.. I must have driven past it a million times and didn't have a clue that behind the doors of this old disused industrial transport building was this incredible collection.. It was purely by chance that someone down the local pub happen to mention it and for that one little conversation, we managed to get our foot in the door.

The first few pictures are of some of the chaps arriving at the premises last Wednesday on their bikes and cars to view the collection.

The owner is such a nice down to earth bloke, that he was there to meet us all and laid of some wonderful sandwiches, biscuits, teas and coffees.. A true British Gentleman !

Col.. The owner of this amazing collection is Rodger Dudding.

Rodger was the first to come up with the concept of the self-storage industry in the UK and is one of Britain's biggest business magnates in this industry.

Rodger owns more than 12,000 garages and as of February 2015 is worth an estimated 162 million, making him "the largest private owner of garages" in the UK....The Sunday Times recognized Rodger as joint-604th on its Sunday Times Rich List 2015 of the wealthiest British residents... And he's also a thoroughly decent chap .. His hospitality shown to us was second to none and it was an honour to be allowed to view just some of his collection..
