WSBK Laguna Seca July 8-10

My son, Chris, our friend Erik (Pro Italia), and myself are leaving from Woodland Hills on Wed. night (7/6). We will be in a white toterhome pulling a white 16' dbl. axle enclosed trailer.

We will drive up to Paso Robles and spend the night. Those who are riding will unload on Thurs. morning and ride up Hwy 1 through Big Sur and Monterey, then over to the campground at the track. The motorhome(s) will go up 101 to Salinas, then cut over to the track.

Our campsites are in the general parking/camping area located behind turns 9, 10, and 11.

We will be riding a 2005 red/silver f4, a 2006 silver/red Brutale, and a 2007 Duc 1098s Tricolore. You can also spot us by the fact that Chris is a left-leg amputee, and Erik is (temporarily) in a wheelchair. IOW, team gimp!

PM me if you're interested in joining us, or stop by our campsite while you're there. We will also be riding into Monterey for the street scene/bike show on Fri. and Sat. night. I hope to see you there.

Regards,
Bob

Riding up on Friday morning... So far my plan is the usual:

From Whittier i'll make my way to the 101 north to the 23 fwy.. to why 23 to the 126 ( side road to hit just a short section of the 126), to the 150... into Ojai for breakfast then to the 33 on up to the 58 and into Paso.

Might cut over to the Hwy 1 from there cuz i haven't done it in years.

If you live in Socal, the BEST part of WSBK/Motogp weekend has always been the ride..

I got to watch it LIVE on Bein TV..... Both MotoAmerica Superbike races, the RC Cup race AND the WSBK races....All of them quite good!!!

But The RC cup was the most entertaining!! (kind of like Moto3 is)

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.
