I wonder what CE approved motorcycle boots mean. I ride with just Docs ankle boots :-).

Who moved my cheese?

It's a European safety standard > http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle-...kit/30754.html

Don't take my word for it but a proper pair of bike boots would probably pass muster for this, I doubt if they'll be inspecting kit looking for CE labels but a pair of DMs will likely be frowned upon if they're asking people to have CE approved clothing.

My Alpinestars Supertech Rs don't have a CE label and they're pretty fully featured boots in the safety/protection stakes.

The dealer over here didn't worry too much about the clothing, other than decent closed shoes, jackets, helmet and gloves. eMail the dealer to confirm after you've done your booking Paul RP.

Jon, where are you doing your ride? I'm going to see if I can get the 800 RR as well later in the day.

I'll be at the Capalaba dealer, hopefully get to do a run around Mt Cotton.
