Any UK riders on here invited to Ducatio Panigale Trackstar day?

Got my invitation today for Silverstone on 26th May. Was looking at the possibility of a Multistrada before test riding the TV. As a result of looking in that direction, and egged on by my 996 riding mate, we filled out the on-line application forms. I got invited, he didn't...

A morning of street riding bikes from the Ducati range and an afternoon with three sessions on the circuit. Haven't ridden on track since the 80s so no high expectations of being much good but I'm sure I'll have fun. Costs 50 each, breakfast and lunch included, at the end of the day fill out a survey form and get a 100 voucher to spend in a Ducati dealership. Sounds like decent value to me.

Any others from the UK applied and got an invitation?

A mate of mine got one, I'm away on a training coarse so didn't bother entering. Is it your own bike you ride round the track or a selection of theirs? My mates got an 899 with about 10k of extras on it, he'd probably get more out of taking his own bike round

One session on your own bike, two sessions on a Panigale. I suppose it gives them an opportunity to assess which group to send you out in on their bike.

Also, this is a market research exercise, they want you to compare your current bike to the Panigale. Obviously distinctly different, you might wonder why they chose me but when I applied I was riding a VFR/Interceptor and that went on the application form. Seems they want opinions from all walks of motorcycling life.
