+1 mate.... i learnt alot from that and will probably pester you for finer touring tips down the track. Loved the gps and tank bag setup. Pity you cant get down lower though. I guess there aren't many other options really. Looks great.

Fantastic pics dude.

Don't have a pic from the end. I was sure I took one but it ain't on the camera.....hmmm.

post-mortem: I still really hurt. everything. Especially my neck/between shoulder blades. Something is a bit wrong here, may go to a doctor if it doesn't clear up in a couple days. I can't lift anything above my head. Wrists are recovering OK. Left shoulder is hosed. hurts way more than the right, which is a bit odd since the left one i could move around. But feels really weak.

Never again will I do this on an F4. Brutale is a contender tho.... <img src="http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

I just saw this and I come a bit late.
I also get really messed up in my back when riding the F4, essentially having pain between shoulder blades.
I realised it's only a muscular contracture from extendending my spine looking up that keeps pulling my vertebrae. Now when I get home after riding I just crack my back on a foam roal and I just feel all my upper back cracking and relieving the tension. I'm then good as new but I do it every time I ride.
That Japan trip seemed amazing. I'll do a long trip in Europe one of these days too...
