MV Festival 2015 Sywell Aerodrome UK

The MV club in the UK is organising a festival at Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire on the 24th May. The event is open to all whether club members or not.

The runway is going to be available if in the afternoon if you need to go for a blast, but it must be a an MV or Magni. There are no noise restriction so a couple of GP bikes will be run without fear of persecution!

The patrons have been invited and Cecil Stamford and Phil Read have both confirmed there attendance.

The event is open to all classic and modern MVs.

Details are available here, or pm me.

Will do re the photos,

It should be good, having the runway is a real bonus as some of the old race bikes are to load even for track use, although at a kilometre long its a bit of a drag track. We are going to split the sessions so everyone can have a play.

There is a classic rally around the lanes possibly up to Silverstone in the morning, as the runway is only available in the afternoon.

We want a Cascina Costa style event with MV parking on the terrace. The classics and race bikes will be in the hanger where the food will be served.

As its the 75th anniversary its open to everyone and I would like to get as many MVs there as we can. The entry fee is 25 this includes lunch and drinks so there is nothing else to pay when you are there.

I need to drum up some support for this so if anyone is interested please don't hesitate to contact me [email protected]

Perhaps paying up front is putting people off ?
I reckon most would like to see what the weather is doing and then decide to go on the day?

Possibly, its Prescott bike festival this weekend its the same with that.

A condition of using the aerodrome is that we use there caterers which is why we need to firm up the number.
