Canberra Ride

Finally got around to getting a new rear. Anyone up for a ride in the Canberra area this weekend - weather dependant?

Failing that, works rider's group is planning a ride from Queanbeyan - Bungendore - Tarago - Goulburn - Taralga - Goulburn - Gunning - Gundaroo - Sutton - Canberra on the 7th, weather depending, if you are interested.

Sent you a PM. Lets try for this coming weekend. Might be able to drag along a 3rd MV ('02 Evo 3) as well.

Nope. Found on the W/E that I am missing the washers to locate the swingarm pivot pin in the frameplates. Regardless I'm some way of completeness

Bugger. 4 MVs would have been brilliant. Will just have to settle for 3. I'll bring my camera and see if I can work out how to post the pics to this forum. Wht sort of ETA will it be until your bike is back on the road?

Sounds good will negotiate with the wife since I'm also doing an all day run on Sunday. She's got this idea from somewhere that I'm meant to spend time with her on weekends and not out riding. Cleo's got a lot to answer for...

Sent you several confused PMs. Ignore the first as I didn't read the f-ing message properly.

You're welcome to join the Sunday run too if you are interested.

Glad you had a great run. Todays trip was fun on the way to Taralga (albeit with up to 70km.h gusts of wind) but atrocious on the way back. Dumping rain, 8 degrees celsius and slippery roads does not equal fun.

Ended up just heading back along the Hume/Federal highways at about 140-150km/h. My hands were so sore by the end of it, it wasn't funny.

Once I work out how to shrink my pics I'll upload them.

As to a ride next Saturday, I'll say a tentative yes at this stage (heading away for two weeks on Sunday so I'm keen for a final fling). I'll see if I can drag along the other MV from today as well as a few from my normal riding crowd.
