WTB: F4 Side Stand >2010

I seem to have a crack in my side stand.

Edit: I would like to purchase a side stand for an F4 2010+

I would also appreciate any advice from the experienced members of the forum in regards to what my options are.

Thanks,

I have the Motocorse sidestand, well made, slightly longer than original,so bike is not at such an angle.
Available in black or silver.
Not cheap but worth it.
I bought mine from Alex at GP Racing. He was the cheapest at the time.

Thanks Mitchy. Was looking at those. Despite hearing there is no doubting the quality of Motocorse stuff. The $$$$ make them my last resort. I'm happy to spend a few dollars but $500ish+ delivered seems pretty darn steep for a kick stand.

I'm wondering if any of the slightly later model ones work well.

Yes, the later 2010+ side stands are compatible and add a few cm to the total length. BTW the two springs in the image should be installed opposing each other. Cheers

Okay thank you. Is that the later F4 stands or Brutale etc also?
And thanks for the note about the springs.

Answered my own question. It seems only F4 models are compatible.

Ed, Can we change my thread title to "WTB F4 Stand > than 2010" please?

OK...done.

Good luck with your search. You could also get yours welded...and have an extension welded on at the same time.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

The 1st gen Brutale sidestands look the same but the newer Brutales look quite different. I have a 2012 F4 sidestand setup but I think you'd be better off sourcing one closer to you. Good luck!

I thought I would report back. I installed a gen 2 kick stand on my 750. It is a vast improvement on the original. There was a need for a little fettling of the return spring bracket to make sure it didn't touch the sump when retracted but other than that I love it. I just left it matt silver, opting not to polish it up like the original. I suppose you know it is correct when it just looks like it belongs there

Glad you got it sorted man. I used my +10 side stand for many years without issue before getting an aftermarket one.
