Lookwell Leathers and F4 750

Time and health has now caught up and I need to sell my bike and leathers, but need a little advice from the Forum please. I have an original Lookwell Leathers two piece, the pants have never been worn and still have the tags on, the jacket has been worn a few times but again comes with the tags, the condition is obviously new for the pants and very good unmarked for the jacket. However the bonus is that I was lucky enough to get Giacomo Agostini to sign across the chest of the jacket, which perhaps gives them an added something over standard.

I am 5'10" and 88kgs, 44 chest, 38 waist and 29"inside leg, so I am a pretty average size, the fit being good all over. Like many on the forum in the past, the size labels are not always the best thing to go by as the variations between for example an XL or an XXL can cover a multitude of sins and not always been representative against national standards.

I would like to sell them with my bike if possible, so that the new owner can look absolutely spot on when riding, or if they wish not only put the bike on show in his study but hang the leathers as a backdrop together with the odd MV poster to make his dream display. Trying to find the leathers (as you all know these original Lookwells are recognised as the ones to have)has become very difficult these days as people tend now to hang on to them, but for me the future becons with a wheel chair, so there is little point in hanging on to either.

Therefore I would like to get the thoughts of the Forum as to the possible value of the leathers, so that I may put a price on the bike and kit. Should the next owner not want or be of the right size, then I would make sure the leathers come on to the forum where I know they would be better appreciated, so Forum what do you think a fair price please.

Sorry to hear of your declining health and subsequent need to give up your MV..... Can't really advise a value, but will attest the Lookwell kit is very nice indeed (I have a 2 and a 1 piece myself).

By the way....where are you ??? Add your location to your profile. May have some bearing on market value.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.
