This is probably the same price I have to pay from the Norwegian dealer.

I see yes. Okay so it would be bet if I just order through StarTwin then. Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.

@theknurl: Noel, we had this conversation about a year ago: http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/20-mai...erences-2.html

The Beru part number is now ZS378 and Beru lists the application as MV specific: eCatalogue | Federal-Mogul Global Aftermarket

Just recently found this one yesterday. At face value it seems a good price. I haven't looked into it in more depth as I'm using a phone and it's a bit of a hassle.

Here's an interesting option. If you could find a coil to suit that was from the car industry side and assemble the leads to suit. 🤔😀

What you folks don't understand is that ZS378 is an assembly, the coil and the cable and it's MV specific, Germans do things that way to make it more expensive

ZS378 stands for ZündspulenSystem ( ignition COILS system) it's plural, #378
Googled "Beru ignition coil" it came up with ~2397 images
lots of Porsches use them, especially the V8s some of the parts numbers are 1 digit off 090 instead of 010 and the coils are red
Looks like Mercedes C230K use them and some Japanese cars too
The Porsche ones sell @ 8 coils with 8 spark plugs for $299 free shipping or $37.38 each pair

OK,
So I have an alternate part number... 0040104002. If we find one that looks similar but has one or two different numbers towards the end of the sequence, is it highly likely that it will suit the MV?
In which case, after having a bit of a look, a lead will have to be assembled...
