Transponder of the ignition key

Hi,

Has anyone extracted a transponder from an original ignition key of a 1090?
I would be interested in the size and exact position. Want to transplant it into a more suitable shaped key.

A dentist friend of mine already tried to examine it by using his X-ray apparatus.
Great idea, but the result only showed a black transponder on a black background.

...just for one day.

Wink ?

Lumiator;
I would contact Jim and see if he has a better shaped key, he can reprogram the chip to be the same as your original.......X-raying a chip might not a good idea

I dropped my Aprilia key and stepped on it, bending the thin center section which immediately broke when I tried to straighten it......TIG welder to the rescue

I've been sending the Master Key around the World for years....

go to Jim
