'05 F41000S Brake Upgrade

Anyone upgrade from the stock Nissin units to the Brembo monoblock kit? Is there any data on performance improvement?

Want the best available brakes, but not sure it's worth it/how significant the difference is...

It's been said before....before you do any major change try upgrading to race brake pads. That may satisfy your needs.

If upgrading to race brake pads is not enough, try a Brembo master cylinder (PR 19x20) instead of the original Nissin.
PR19 rules, no matter if you don't have radial calipers...

I'm not interested in an upgrade. I'm interested in the best brakes available. What are they????

I guess that would be what the racers use.... but they wouldn't use any of that on the street....so...these should do nicely Brembo mono-block calipers, brake-tech carbon rotors, or wave rotors.... ferrado racing compound pads, motul dot4 fuid.... brembo master cylinders....adjustable/foldable levers.... stainless steel lines.... but my best brakes are smoke breaks....

just email Geoff [email protected] and ask him to put a killer pakage together for you.... it may take him a few days to respnod...but he'll do it right the first time

I'd try what Peter said first. Minor changes may give you the result you want without the big hit on the bank account... Those Monoblocks are EXPENSIVE
