Fancy Seat Work

I've recently tackled the fact that my lovely alcantara seat was starting to look a bit, well, shoddy.

I wanted it back like new, but also wanted something a bit more practical, ie: harder wearing and waterproof.

The first step was to get new alcantara covers (Thanks Ade!):
then I sourced a second-hand seat and cowl.

A friend recommended a place nearby that specialises in car upholstery, so I got the original re-covered.
I was so pleased with that, I decided to get the recently aquired set re-done in something nice:
a "carbon" leather (used by Porche, apparently) with the "F4" logo, and a couple of Tricolores.

This will be used most of the time, and the alcantara kept for "special" days- sad, I know, but you guys know how it is!

@ BG Wells: Yeah, Brian, I'll be at the usual spot @ the last corner @ Dundrod, plus up in the evenings-

What chance that the weather will hold?
