Quick release race gas cap

I just installed it. After 10 minutes ride, there is a leak from the center cap which to open and close to fill gas).

Just wondering is it because of bad seal so the pressure leak the gas? I change with Tamburini one (coincidently interchangeable) there is no leak.

Is it harm to my tank because of the pressure if i change the seal like Tamburini one so it would not leak?

Any suggestion? It will be annoying to break my tank because of gas cap.

Hi Donsy,

Thank you for you concern,

I only have picture the same as your quickshifter threads. Here is the picture.

I will give you more picture with the leak later, when I drive.

Regarding the breathers, as I know, I install them as supposed to be. But hey, it is me, who cannot change oil by myself.

Question Hhhmmm

That's not good mate, if it's leaking from the centre of the cap, the opening part, then the seal must be missing or damaged. Can you see the actual rubber seal ?

Donsy,

here is the picture of leak from just 10 minutes rides. It will be more leak if i ride more than 1 hour.

My guess is the seal at the centre of the cap is not good, since if i swop with Tamburini from my ducati, it is not leak.
