EvolutionBike comes through...........

Like Christmas in July, I have been wanting these items for over a year, but only now was able to make it happen ($$).
Big Box: Race Fiberglass, Carbon Hugger (even comes with the well nuts and bolts), Carbon Lower Chain Guard, and Titanium Finish left side Engine Protection, with bolts, I'll make my own seat out of the Foam pad I bought at Orchard Supply Hardware, but the guys at EvolutionBike do include a seat too.
I took advantage of their "Free Shipping Over 1000 euro" policy, and basically got a free Hugger, and chain-guard, for what shipping fairings from Italy would otherwise cost.

Thanks Hanspeter,
I have a friend who's a Professional Painter, with a Spray Booth who owes me a favor (or about 16 hrs).
I'm installing the Fiberglass this weekend, and then i'll start on the Race-Paint Design.
It's gonna be awhile though, I'm flying back and forth, east coast, west coast a lot.
Master-Tile Co. that's me.............Professional Ceramic Tile Installations since 1989.

Nice Mark, can't wait to see the finished product.
Just out of curiousity, did you compare the Evo product with the Catalyst gear at all ? I mean price, product quality or type of product ?

Cruciata Fiberglass

Hi Donsy, Yes I had a lot of time to compare whats available. The Catalist looks pretty good, with some possible advantage the way that the nose cone and sides are all one piece, (less Fasteners). cost is close to the Cruciata fiberglass. although I didn't like the Catalyst Tail Section, I like this one much better. I also opted for the OEM style Removable Side Panels for easier access without removing the Nose Cone.
The Fit on these Cruciata Parts is Perfect. but the Tail section is a Bitch to install (needs to be spread REALLY wide to go over the subframe, and I had to trim some off the front because I'm one of the guys with a swollen fuel tank.
I took all Saturday morning to Fit the Fiberglass, quite a bit of drilling the fastener holes, which need to be Perfect.
I'm working on the seat pad today.

EvolutionBike Left Side Engine Protection

Out of all the different one's I found i like this one the best. The End-Cap is Replaceable with a tiny set screw on the bottom. Titanium Finish.

Thumbs down Stock Cover

Sure Makes the OEM Cover look pretty bad. it's all scuffed-up from rubbing on the side panel, super thin, and Zero crash Protection.

Thumbs up Finished Fit

The Top Juuuust barley touches the Fairing Hole. might need a Tiny Bit of Plastic removed, just to make it not rub at all. I already removed a tad of fiberglass (4mm or so) on the Track Panel.

Carbon Fiber Under Tail. (Prototype)

Here's a snap of the Under Tail I made. The finish on this first one is N/G because I didn't have the correct resin at the time. But the second one I make will be more glossy.
