Anyone has magnesium parts on the MV and what´s the result in terms of quality in time. I´ve been told that magnesium is very subject to corrosion and being the hub such a critical part and of discussion would you use a magnesium item?

If I had one I'd use it.

My 2000 750 has all the Magnesium Oro bits except for the triple clamp for 6 or 7 years, no problems so far. But, I only ride her in dry sunny conditions and not that much.
Magnesium pulverises over time when exposed to oxygen, just keep an eye on the condition of the paintcoating. The hubsurface that touches the wheel should be thoroughly covered with coppergrease.
