I bought some and it comes in little square blocks about 2 inches square.
There was a lot of little pieces in the bag it all came from. I was thinking this would not be so good for the fuel filter and could clog it in short order so I never stuffed the blocks in the tank.

If Adam and Eve were Chinese, we would still be in paradise
because they would have ignored the apple and eaten the snake!

Wink foam?

MV tanks are short front to back so I wouldn't bother.....

that said, if you must, buy a pair of blocks shape them with a scalloped edge slicing knife NOT serrated......DO NOT use a band saw
http://www.webstaurantstore.com/12-w...eef-slicer.jpg
rotate the foam so you trim off the bottom, so any little pieces will fall down....
Phil, if you do it, cut the lower right rear corner off a bit, by the tank drain

then shop vac it real good, install it, put a gallon of gas in it shake it around, let settle to the right rear corner and pull the drain plug pour off the clean gas and pour it back through the tank again

sound like i've done this before?

yes

Rod there is a pre filter screen

Question

Hi Phil.

Who are you getting the foam from?
I know there is a guy in your area that does motorcycle fuel cell's and foam, he also makes Ally fuel tanks. I am trying to get his name again as I have lost it when my computer crashed last year.

He offered to make a Ally tank for the F4 if someone could get him a sample, or at least give me a quote, but I could not get any volunteers at that stage.

Let me know what you have please.
