New custom made bar ends

A while back I made some 'modified' bar ends http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/showth...t=40844&page=2 however this time I decided to make something much more challenging and unique. As I like to work with a combination of brass and aluminium I set about a design unique to myself but with sufficient weight. The challenge was to make bar end weights 'heavier' than the OEM ones but be aesthetically much more pleasing and not just replacement heavier chunks of metal that 'did their job'!.
A lot of 'visualising' and 'mentally redesigning and constructing' the end product during many times I appeared to be 'miles away' to those around me has resulted in the pictures that follow. I had to use one of my little 'modellers' lathes (Emco unimat) along with my usual larger lathe and careful machining, soldering, more machining, threading, polishing, etc,...you get the picture....hope you like the end result. Cheers for now...until the effects of the medication wear off!!. Brian

Love that little lathe. Give it to me.

Nice to see someone else has the curse.

I got mine. Boy do I ever got mine.
