Yet Another Exhaust Thread

Hi,

I have searched the forums as thoroughly as I could. I'm looking for guidance on improving the MY2010 F4 Exhaust sound. I just want a **little* louder / deeper sound.. nothing that causes an ECM redo.

I was thinking of pulling the silencers and cutting away some of the baffling there.

Anyone done anything like that to and great or small effect?

Thanks

Leigh

Don't dick around with them. You stand a 50/50 chance of loosing power. Better to replace them with some aftermarket mufflers if you're after a louder note.

I got mine. Boy do I ever got mine.

If the guy want's a "little louder" he should stay away from Bodis slip ons. They are off the scale in terms of noise - albeit - beautiful noise.

Yeh your right,Bodis is "LOUD" but gorgeous sound,I havnt been booked yet but I do live in Queensland. It looks like the Bodis slippons for the 2010 model has removable baffles with packing which would make them a bit quieter, another plus with Bodis is the weight saving, they are so light, and I understand the RG4 system is around the same weight as the original system,a decibel reading would be helpful,Mitch.

Just disconnect the exhaust solenoid butterfly valve below your right footpeg - plenty loud enough then!!!

i've also heard the RG4, if a lil louder is what you are looking for, then thats it. now to me its not worth the money.
by the way Mitchy do you have your avatar picture in High definition or bigger pixelation
