I agree on the road.

Racing or off road there is significant merit in not removing all of your fingers from the bar.

I use CRG as well. They are at the perfect intersection of Good and Cheap. I recently replaced a set of Chinese levels on another bike with CRG and it is night and day difference in comfort, especially if you are in heavy traffic holding the clutch.

I'd stay away from the Chinese ebay stuff. The qc is poor. A guy went straight into the wall at turn 1 a few years ago. They said the rubber piston in the lever was swelled up like a ball.

Look for CNC from billet aluminum. Cast levers tend to snap easily like one of my original MV standard levers. When backing out of my storage space the brake, however briefly, snagged on the door jam. SNAP. No riding that night. Shorties help avoid those types of occurrences. Size and function wise choose whichever length.

What part number did you purchase from CRG for the levers? Can't find one that says it is for MV Agusta.
