Brutale 1090RR exhaust

Hi there!

So i own a 1090RR 2012,and i have found a hp corse hydroform exhaust,only problem is,it is on a 1078RR 2009.Will it fit?

If i buy a new one, will it run ok on a oem ecu? Also what is PCV and TPS you are all talking about?

Last but not least, where do you buy material for your agustas, preferebly in europe? Here in Slovenia there is a 6 month waiting period for a rear disc break, yes you read that correct,6 month 😭😭

Thanks for any reply!

Welcome to MV ownership.
I can't help you with the exhaust questions but as for parts in Europe I suggest using Evolution Bike in Italy for parts or Designcorse in the UK.
They will have everything you need and supply you a lot faster than the 6 months!!

@Boeder1090RR: The 1078 and the 1090 have the same configuration and engine. The exhaust should fit. As for tuning, when doing an entire system you change the airflow enough that an ECU tuning is in order.

As for PCV and TPS and any other technical issue, please download your Frame, Engine, and Parts manual from Donsy's website here:

Hi there, cannot help regarding the fit of the exhaust.
In answer to your other queries - PCV refers to power commander 5, an additional piece of electronic equipment, that allows a dyno tuner to alter the fueling by altering the signals from the ecu. People add it because they can’t crack the ecu codes.
TPS is throttle position sensor reset, needs to be done by using diagnostic software whenever a change is made to the electronic components.

Quite a few people are happy to run the race ecu, which is used when the lambda sensor is removed.

If the ECU in your bike is a Magneti Marelli 5SM or 1.6M (16M), then they are quite tuneable.

OF course, knowing where you are on this Big Blue Marble would help us help you with that.

NO, you misunderstand.
The Power Commander is an add-on unit that only affects fueling. It cannot change timing or other engine parameters.

Changing timing is the key to fixing some running issues.

Being in Slovenia, your options are limited I'd assume.
