Fabbed my first Carbon fiber piece for the F4

The wife decided that she didn't want to ride on the F4 so I decided to go ahead and make a passenger seat delete. I pulled the upholstery from the seat and used the stock foam to pull a fiberglass mold. From there I overlaid two pieces of 3k carbon fiber and epoxy resin. Then I trimmed the excess and bonded the carbon piece to the stock plastic base using panel bond. Layed a flow coat of resin and once that dried I did some block sanding with 400 to 800 grit. Layed the decal, followed by four coats of PPG clear. It still needs a wet sand and buff, but I'm pretty happy with it thus far.

Looks awesome, was it hard to do/expensive? , I fancy something like this for my B4.

Nice job...and the retro decal adds a good touch.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.
