Catalyst removal

Hi all as the subject suggest when
You remove the insides of the standard catalyst on the f4 do you get any engine management faults afterwards with the standard ecu ?

F4 312r 2007 is the bike in question.
The reason I ask is because if the cat is just removed on some of the vehicles I work on with lambda sensors then the ecu throws a fault code usually saying that the measured values are out of operating parameters or usually a very similar style of fault as the ecu can only offer slight variations on the standard base line.
Just wanted to know if it was the same with the f4

The lambda sensor on the 312R is out of the picture once you go past 4000 rpm. The ECU isn't all that sophisticated.

Definitely not sophisticated if it checks
Out at 4000 rpm.

It is only there for low RPM fueling and emissions.

Makes no sense on their part really as if itís there theyíre may as well have utilised the sensor throughout the complete rpm range for better on the fly adjustments.
Mad but i can see why they didnít bother
