What is necessary to install arrow exhaust?

Hello,
i'm thinking about buying new arrow exhaust 71110P0+71353MI to my B4 2006. What else is necessary to buy? This system doesn't have the "lambda connector". Is it problem or I need to buy link pipe with lambda connector, where?

I know, that I will have to tune fuel map on dyno. Can this be done directly with original ECU? Or do I need to buy also power commander or similar?

Thanks

Wow, welcome. There will be a bunch-o-help along in a minute; but, here's some:

If you use the standard ECU and find a tuner, you can get away with the stock 5SM...do a dyno run tune.

If you go to the "RACE" ECU (5SM) you lose lambda capability so a no-lambda link pipe is fine.

Depending on where you may inhabit this, or some other, planet...there are semi-local folks who can help.
Without Geophysical co-ordinates, local help is hard to find.

So if I understand you correctly, the standart ECU can be tuned. But I need to buy link pipe with "lambda connector", is that correct?
Or to buy racing ECU. Is the EPROM chip enough or I need to buy whole ECU?

My service offers dyno with possibility to tune fuel maps, so I would let them do that.

There is no EPROM chip in a 5SM ECU.

I believe the connection to the lambda sensor can be turned off in the programming of any 5SM.
The "RACE" version just comes that way.

I recon he has a 1.6SM ECU Chuck, but then again, we are guessing with so little info coming forward.
Is it a 910S or 910R ? @eagle - OK. looked at your old post's, you have a 910S, so the Race Eprom is an option, PowerCommander is another.
You don't need a Lambda sensor port.

Sorry guys, I didn't even realized, that B750 2006 exists. Yes I have Brutale 910S, 2006, bought new in Czech Republic, with new hub and new fuse box. I don't know, what version of ECU do I have and right now, my bike is taking winter sleep in my parent's garage, so I can't look right now.

Is there some option, not to go on dyno? Just for example, I change exhausts, change Race EPROM, will it work? Because the dyno and fuel remap is the only thing I cannot do at home.

Question...does it currently have a lambda (oxygen) sensor? If it does then you have a 5SM ECU.

In Europe, the 2006 model was the beginnings of Euro3 emissions. 2007~8 in US market.

If your current exhaust does NOT have lambda (oxygen) sensor then you have 16M ECU which uses an eprom. You can write a new eprom with proper diagnostic port cables and Adam's (Merc07) free software (search his thread).

Not everyone has access to "crack" the 5SM ECU to change settings. That requires certain software and knowledge.

Then there is always X-Bikes and a Microtec ECU.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Thanks for reply, I didn't even thought, that there are some differences. Because emoto offers EPROMs:
"To fit: MV Agusta Brutale 910 (all models/all years) including 910R"
Also in spare parts catalogue, there is allways EPROM chip with ECU for 05/06 models

My bike is EURO3, but I quickly checked and I haven't found any lambda sensor, is it possible?

To shorten this topic (installing new exhausts):
Easy way - ECU with replaceable EPROM chip-> almost anyone can remap the EPROM, not even necessary to go to dyno
Hard way - 5SM ECU without changeable EPROM -> something very special, can authorised MV service do that, remap?

E: I'm 100% sure, that I have ECU with one long connector

@eagle: ...and any other newbie to this forum: EMOTO IS A DEFUNCT ORGANIZATION OF CRIMINALS!!!!!

We do not promote that organization as it has stolen money from many people. For some reason they show up as a viable parts supplier even today although they have long since closed up shop.

Now, on your ECU dilemma, you have to determine the specification of your ECU. As has already been alluded to, it is either a Magnetti Marelli 5SM or it is a Magnetti Marelli 1.6M.

The easiest way to tell is to look at the number of cable connections to the ECU. If it is one big connection running the length of the side of the ECU, then it is a 1.6M and it has a programmable, replaceable EPROM chip.

If the ECU has two cable connections on the back of the ECU, it is a 5SM and it does not have an EPROM chip. It is, however, programmable by the good folks who have the technology and experience. Those folks are few and far between.
