Who has swapped exhuast on the Stradale or Rivale

Has anyone changed out the exhaust and done a dyno run? Beside the weight loss benefit how much power gain has been realized

The Rivale exhaust is the same as the Brutale, (as is the engine) when I fitted a FM to my Brutale the dyno result showed 125hp, I didn't test it before the FM exhaust was fitted but magazine test of the standard bike are around 110-115hp.

10HP is a big jump. Did it feel that different?

Mid range felt like it pulled a little stronger, but in reality it was probably a little slower because I kept shutting off the throttle so I listen to it pop and crackle on the over run

Truth be told though the noise of it got tiresome in the end, great fun of you were "on it" banging up and down through the box corner to corner but when you were just cruising along it quickly became an annoying drone
Got offered what I paid for it when I sold my brutale so it went with the bike.

not concerned about more noise just wanted to get rid of the boat anchor stock exhaust. Of course I have to get the bike first

It seems one automatically comes with the other? Two of the most popular pipes FM and QD are both pretty ear splitting.

George, I replaced the exhaust (post-cat) with an aftermarket exhaust on my Rivale, and installed an aftermarket high-flow air filter. I noticed a difference in how the engine pulled through the rev range more smoothly and with perhaps a little better responsiveness. As I recall, the info I found at the time led me to believe that those two mods would theoretically bump the crank HP from 125 to around 131.

But the sound ... glorious!
