Chain wax

Hey just a quick question about the chain wax, it's been dripping on my exhaust and smoking since I got my 800 I have a little over 300 miles on it just wondering how long it will take to burn all of that off and if there is anything I can do to speed the process thanks

Clean the chain and use a better chain lube?

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

New Site Garage
Clean it off with WD40, then as said clean the chain and get some decent stuff, don't go over board with it and put it on after your ride, not before

Wink

And don't forget to spray the inside of the chain and not the outside.

Do it! Do it now! Don't be a girlie man.

I'm a big advocate for lubing the chain every 300-600 miles and agree with the above posts.
Clean it up with a rag and ride it, then apply new lube and let it set in a bit before riding again.
