Wheel spacer on 1000R or 312R

Hello, could anyone with a 1000R, 312R, or any other bike that uses spacers on the front wheels have a quick check and tell me if this space is normal? It's on the right side of the wheel (sitting on bike). Thanks much.

My 312R is in deep slumber...if I can get to it, I will have a look.

I'd appreciate it if it isn't too much work, but do you really need an excuse to see your 312R?

it's normal, to double check loosen the right side pinch bolts and check the torque on the axle then tighten the pinch bolts

Thanks Noel. I swapped the original 312R wheels/axle with my Marvics and it didn't look right. I usually take pictures before I start doing things but this time I didn't. I actually put them back on twice to make sure I didn't do anything wrong. Just wanted to make sure before endoing the bike. The pavement is cold this time of year...

Same as mine Art. It's the spindle that bears on it not the fork .

That is right side as you sit on bike. left side is tight up to the fork leg.

Joe, that axle looks like it has an awful off-set bend in the middle!
