Cool Engine starter - is the one for the F4 1000 same as for the F41000R?

Mine burned down - a guy has a used one for sale, but for the F41000, and my F4 is the 2006 1000R. Are they all the same ? Could someonee help me with that?
Thanks
Ed

Wink

i've seen 2 styles, internal and external bolts

all starters use the same gear and end size for almost all bikes made

Denso changes the rear mounting feet thats all

if its an MV starter it'll work
