Talking VDST in my tool box.

Just loaded the software and hooked it up to my bike...I bought the single model VDST from TechnoResearch...so I can set TPS etc on any MV with the 5SM ECU (and maybe Ducatis, too).

If you are in Atlanta area and need help with that, let me know.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

USB cord pre-assembled on mine. I think they recognize that RS-232 connection is obsolete.

Hey guys,

looking for a VDST(S?) kit, for my '12 B4 1090RR, MM-5SM ECU, and for some reason it looks to be quite difficult to find one.
Nothing on Technoresearch website, only Harley-targeted models. I found some references to it in defunct resellers websites, and even in an old TechnoResearch website they've apparently forgotten about :-)
But, strangely enough, nothing on aftermarket/OEM parts either. Or maybe they are carefully hidden and I haven't found them :-)

.. and seeing how swiftly the are sold on this forum, as soon as someone offers one on sale, it looks like that getting one gets close to the Holy Grail quest.

or is there any equivalent kit?

You might contact the company directly..... I think it is simply a matter of programming the dongle that limits what bikes are accessible....

Push come to shove, I could loan you mine.....just pay the shipping to and fro. That is, if you just want it for the one time job of setting TPS.

Many thanks for your help, Ed.

I will try to get one first -- I've sent a message to TechnoResearch on your behalf :-) Just kidding, I sent sent a short message to them moments ago, and we'll see where it goes from there.

When I will actually be on the job of throttle bodies sync, and if I didn't have a chance to get one already, then I will ask you.

Where is Two Trees ??? other than in my back yard......

And do you have a SPR ??? or a later bike? The SPR has a 1.6M ecu and the VDST doesn't work for that one.
