Exclamation Setting up the 5 SM MV Brutale 1078 control unit

Good afternoon. Any thoughts on setting up the 5 SM MV Brutale 1078 control unit. Maybe someone has software? Tool for customization.
There was a problem after installing TPS. I read that a reset is necessary. I found a cable and a disk for DUCATI for sale, there is additional information that this is suitable for MV

You should consider getting one of these Microtec ECUs....it is the replacement for the 5SM you have. This is the entire "kit" as offered by MV as an accessory. Quite a bargain in my opinion:

NEW, OEM MV Agusta Corse (Microtec) ‘M226 MV’ ECU
Via our close relationship with the factory we purchased various historical stock items now no longer available to order from the factory, in the coming weeks we will be posting various spare parts we have available / in stock & the quantity.

Once this stock is gone it’s gone.

We have available x29 New, OEM MV Agusta Corse (Microtec) ‘M226 MV’ ECU, Part Number RDMT001059

£495 GBP + Vat.

Application list below,

F4, Until MY09 (That use this ECU)
Brutale, All MY (That use this ECU)

The M226 ECU in place of the original unit implements all the functionality & all the safeties of the original unit, it is supplied with the preloaded map applicable to the above application list but is completely customisable.

Shipping at cost, will ship worldwide.

Good suggestion. But this without tuning knowledge is simply a “beautiful thing”.

You will need the VDST software and a communication cable for the MV to reset the TPS.

The Ducati Desmosedici uses the 5SM ECU....I can't think of others (not a Ducati expert by any means)....

Not sure the Ducati communication cable you found will talk to the MV ECU, is it for the Desmosedici??

I do not have software at this time. The principle of OBD2 data transfer is very similar. I will look for a cable and a program.

Google jpdiag. It is a free software download but you will need to get some cables. I got mine from an English company called Lonelec.
