Unhappy F4 1000S problem after replacing battery

Hoping someone can chime in with some advice with a problem I'm having.

Replaced a dead SSB Lithium battery in my F4 1000S with a new SSB AGM battery and the following is happening:
  • Battery and oil light are on the dash even when the ignition is in the Off position
  • Fuel pump doesn't come on and dash doesn't go through its startup cycle when ignition is in the On position
  • Bike will crank with ignition in On position (but won't start of course)

Possibly worth noting, the Lithium battery died while I was riding and I jump-started the bike from a friend's car numerous times to get the bike home. Not sure if this may have damaged something.

I'm at a lost with how the dash can be getting power with the ignition in the Off position! Any ideas?

Do a search for "Diode"...... your answer may lay there.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Could it be the infamous 40a fuse? I blew one on a 750 when a Shorai Lithium gave up during a ride. Bike wouldn’t restart after an AGM battery was installed. Replaced the 40a fuse, solved the problem.

How many negative cables should connect to the negative battery terminal?

Is it 1 or 2?
