MV Agusta F4 Valve Clearance Check Sheet

Hi.
I have just checked and adjusted the valve clearances on my 2010 F4. I found that the sheet that was included in the maintenance manual was poorly compiled and could lead to confusion about which valve you were recording and adjusting. The positioning and numbering of the valve on the sheet is not relative to the position on the bike.
Attached is a sheet I have written myself which is much clearer and more intuitive. Set the bike as per the yellow setting and the yellow valves should be measured. Set the bike as per the green setting and the green valves should be measured.
You can print it to use it. Hope it is useful.
Stuart.

It's a very nice chart.... I like the color coding part. Thanks for sharing.

I personally have no problems with the charts in the manuals...but then, it is just like the charts found in other brands manuals that I have been familiar with, and using, for decades.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

The one in the manual has all the valve numbers wrong.. See page 30 of the Chassis Manual for F4 1078
